baby steps

It's been a bit of challenge getting myself scrapbooking again. It isn't that I don't want to do it...I just have been doing other things. I decided to start off with some older photos that I've had lying about for some time and strangely enough it all came back rather easily. My style is still very much the same...simple storytelling. Beyond that...anything goes. I can't say that I'm too into all the spray mists and paint that seem to be so popular...I like things a bit cleaner. I occasionally like to play with collage a little, but my favorite layouts tend to be the ones with less stuff. My formula is so very basic... a couple photos, a story I think needs telling, patterned paper and top it off with an embellishment or two...or three. So, the mojo is returning...slowly but surely.
