In the last three years I have experienced two very big moves and I am now gearing up for a smallish one. My current place is in an absolute state of chaos. Now that all shop orders have been shipped and work deadlines have been met, all I want to do is take a week long nap. Sadly, I will not be napping for a while. There is much to do in a month's time and while I am excited to be starting anew with a fresh canvas, I don't relish the packing process. Since we are moving locally and intend to do a great deal of purging, Keith and I have decided to pack ourselves rather than hire packers as we've done in the past. Thankfully, I have learned a great deal simply from watching experts pack that I'm feeling pretty confident.
The new place is fairly close to where I live now, but it's a house rather than a condo. With Summer so near, I am looking forward to having a beautiful outdoor space. Our new landlord apparently has a VERY green thumb and has tended his garden so lovingly. Here's a peek:
